NO 24TH; SEX ON FIRE

 

I sjuan var jag med i skolans rockgrupp och vi framförde tillsammans Kings of Leon:s "Use Somebody", en mycket bra låt enlight mig som jag vill ranka blan de allra bästa låtarna från 2000-talet. Ett alternativ var dock bandets andra berömda låt; "Sex on Fire", som vår musiklärare inte tyckte att vi skulle ha på grund av dess sexuella text...

 

Aja, så här i efterhand har jag återupptäckt låten och jag ÄLSKAR den! Ett rent och snyggt gitarriff och en tydlig markering mellan vers om refräng, samt ett ös som genomborrar hela låten. Jag är inte mycket för modern musik överlag, men jag måste säga att det finns ett par band som än i dag är riktigt bra. Green Day är ett, Foo Fighters ett annat och Kings of Leon ett tredje.
